According to an article in Publisher’s Weekly, Lynne Rae Perkins has won the 2005 John Newbery Medal for her novel Criss Cross (Greenwillow), and Chris Raschka won the 2005 Randolph Caldecott Medal for The Hello, Goodbye Window, written by Norton Juster (Hyperion/di Capua). The awards were announced the ALA’s midwinter conference in San Antonio.
