9 p.m.— City Lights Booksellers & Publishers presents Héctor Tobar in conversation with John McMurtrie. Join as Pulitzer Prize–winning writer Héctor Tobar discusses his new book Our Migrant Souls which focuses on twenty-first-century Latino experience and identity. 11 a.m.— 12 p.m.— We’re back with another installation of Graphic Novel Book Club hosted by Bel Canto Books. This month, look forward to discussing In Limbo by Deb JJ Lee. As always, registration is free, and this event will take place online.

7 p.m.— Join Play Café for the event Market Your Play with a Compelling Blurb. Learn how to drum up a quick, snappy, and catchy line or group of lines. Come up with your own and workshop it with the group by eliminating any excess wording and polishing your word choices. The event organizers ask that attendees make a donation to gain entry to this online event.

5 p.m.— Slover Library presents Write Now! Adults -- by The Muse Writers Center & Slover Library. A talented Muse writer will facilitate a fun and thoughtful mini creative writing workshop centered on generating and sharing your work. Registration is free, and this event will take place online.  

9 p.m.— Space Cowboy Books presents Flash Science Fiction Night Online. Join for an evening of short science fiction story readings and to meet writers from around the world. Pressed on time? This event tends to run thirty minutes long. Registration is free, and this event will take place online.

8 p.m.— The Austin Public Library presents another Virtual Older Adult Book Club. This month, the group will be discussing The Eagles of Heart Mountain by Bradford Pearson. Registration is free, and this event will take place online.

10 a.m.— Explore nonfiction and journalistic writing with Write Here, Write Now - Nonfiction Writing for Magazines with Rachel Garber. 2 p.m.— Tune in for  Poetry Lit! - Online Reading Series featuring Jim Carruth & Lynn Davidson! Expect the guest poets to read from their works, answer questions in a conversation format, and for the floor to open for an open mic session. Registration is free, and this event will take place online.
