Mark Twain Publishes Again

June 1, 2009

Although he has been dead for almost 100 years, Mark Twain has a “new” short story appearing in the Strand Magazine. Laced with Twain’s signature dark humor, “The Undertaker’s Tale” will also be published in the forthcoming book, Who is Mark Twain? According to BBC News, Twain wrote fiction, nonfiction, plays, letters, and autobiography obsessively during his lifetime, and there is still a large amount of material yet unpublished. He last made headlines when a new edition of Huckleberry Finn, which included previously unseen material, was published thirteen years ago.
