American Book Review Relocates To Texas

The American Book Review will resume publication after nearly a year, under the direction of Dr. Jeffrey Di Leo, interim dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Houston, Victoria. Dr. Di Leo will serve as the new editor-in-chief for The Review. Dr. Di Leo plans on printing 200-250 reviews annually, along with themed issues and author interviews.

American Book Review was founded in 1977 at Illinois State University. The Review has drawn such editors as Andrei Codrescu, Rikki Ducornet, Joyce Carol Oates, Charles Simic, Bruce Sterling, and others.
