The memoir that Reynolds Price was writing up until his death is set to be published in May of 2012. Titled Midstream: An Unfinished Memoir the posthumous work includes an introduction by Anne Tyler and will be published through Scribner.

Price was an eminent novelist, memoir writer, and poet. His most famous works include the novels A Rich and Happy Life and Kate Vaiden as well as three memoirs. Midstream will be his fourth. He died in January of this year. He taught at Duke University for over fifty years.
