Don ShareThe Poetry Foundation announced that Don Share would replace Christian Wiman as the next editor of Poetry magazine. Outgoing Foundation president John Barr nominated Share and the board voted unanimously to ratify the appointment. “Don Share's deep experience as editor, critic, poet, and scholar, as well as his fellowship with the entire poetry community, make him the perfect choice to lead Poetry into its second century,” said Barr.

He will begin his tenure on July 1st and will be the twelfth editor in the magazine’s 101-year history.
