The AWP Conference & Bookfair Is Landing in Kansas City!
The annual AWP Conference & Bookfair (#AWP24) will take place February 7–10, 2024 and will feature 375 events by and for creative writers, as well as over 500 publishers, universities, and other exhibitors. Pulitzer Prize–winning poet Jericho Brown will give the keynote address on Thursday, February 8.

AWP is Back! High Attendance, New HBCU Fellowship, and Min Jin Lee at #AWP23 in Seattle.
The Association of Writers & Writing Programs returned to Seattle, Washington for its annual AWP Conference & Bookfair (#AWP23). For the first time since the start of the pandemic, AWP welcomed its highest number of attendees. The total checked-in registered attendees in Seattle totaled 9,037, including Saturday-only passes, which comprised 775 attendees.

AWP’s 2016 Los Angeles Conference & Bookfair (March 30–April 2), features 2,000 Presenters and 550 Literary Events!
Now the largest literary conference in North America, the 2016 AWP Conference & Bookfair will take place March 30 to April 2 at the Los Angeles Convention Center and J.W. Marriott Hotel. More than 12,000 people are expected to attend. The conference will highlight over 2,000 authors, editors, teachers, and publishers.
