Transform your writing with seven nights’ accommodations in a Tuscan villa, six quiet retreat mornings to focus on the writing project of your dreams, and six afternoon workshops with a deep emphasis on craft. Your Writeaway in Italy includes private consultations, daily workshops, an Italian cooking class, all meals, daily aperitivos and wine with dinner, a tasting of regional wines, and dinner in a private Italian home prepared by sommelier Susanna Pacini.

The Writeaway in Italy take place in Villa Cini and Villa Casanova, built in the 17th century. The villas are located in the Chianti region of Tuscany, near the villages of Bucine and Badia Agnano, an easy drive or train ride from Florence, Siena and Arezzo. A Roman road at one time ran through the valley, which is best known for its red wines. The villas share a pool and stunning grounds, with many nooks perfect for writing.
For over a decade Writeaways have provided rigorous attention to craft for all genres and writing levels, individual consultations, and a lively community to help writers thrive and inspire them to create their best work.
