At Pacific University’s Residency Writers Conference, working alongside our MFA students you will study with award-winning writers whose careful guidance and instruction will help you achieve more than you thought possible. Our writers will meet you where you are.

Each 10-day residency is filled with workshops, lectures, panel discussions, readings, and more. Conference participants, students, and faculty all return home to their writing lives energized and with a new commitment to the elements of craft, the regular practice of writing, and the idea that art can change lives. Fellowships available to BIPOC writers.
