The Poetry Foundation Appoints a New President
In late January, the Poetry Foundation announced that Robert Polito would its next president. His tenure will begin in July of this year. He is replacing John Barr, the Foundation’s inaugural president, who announced his retirement last year and will help make sure Polito’s transition is successful. Read more...

Forthcoming: Open Access to Online Emily Dickinson Archive

The State of Libraries: Not as Endangered as Expected, Some Going Bookless, and Some Getting a Little Weird
According to a recent report from the Pew Research Center, titled “Library Services in the Digital Age,” US libraries continue to be a vital element of society. Pew researchers surveyed over 2,200 Americans aged sixteen or older and found that 60% had interacted with a library in the past year, and over 90% said, “public libraries are important to their communities.” Read more...
