Suzie Eckl

Fall 2017 Session

In the summer of 2017, Suzie witnessed the northern lights and a full solar eclipse. All the mysteries of the universe have been revealed to her, save one: how to finish her novel-in-progress. She supports her writing habit—and travel addiction—with a day job in television program development in Washington, DC. She is grateful for the generous support of others, including DC’s Commission on the Arts and Humanities, which awarded her an artist grant; Davidson College, where she received the Patricia Cornwell Creative Writing Scholarship; and her friends, family, teachers, and workshop partners, whose companionship she couldn’t do without.
