Stephanie Ratanas

Spring 2016 Session

Stephanie Ratanas is a nonfiction and occasional fiction writer from Minnesota. In Chicago, she completed a BA in Journalism with a Creative Writing minor, and she later researched and wrote about Chicago ward politics, community social justice issues, and cultural oddities. She is a former contributor to the Chicago independent arts and culture magazine, Newcity. Her work as a coffee buyer allows her rural, equatorial travel experiences in beautiful places to taste and write about coffee. She lives in Minneapolis with two border collies.
