Rowan Sharp
Spring 2019 Session
Rowan Sharp grew up on a remote island in the Pacific Northwest but lived for many years in New Orleans. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Literary Review and the Beloit Poetry Journal. Her translations, from Spanish, have appeared in several journals and in Pinholes in the Night: Essential Poems from Latin America, from Copper Canyon Press. She now lives in Port Townsend, Washington, where she proofreads and copy edits poetry for Copper Canyon. She also works as a landscaper, throws generator dance parties, and co-captains a small, rickety sailboat.
