Michael Allyn Wells

Michael Allyn Wells has lived in the metropolitan Kansas City area most of his life, where he continues to live with his wife and three dogs. Michael has always enjoyed writing, cutting his teeth on political writings and essays in high school, and he credits an English teacher who encouraged him to keep writing but keep a dictionary close by. He has focused his writing on poetry for fifteen years. Besides his love for poetry, he likes his coffee black and his wine white. When he is not reading or writing his other passion is San Francisco Giants baseball. Michael's work has appeared in the Rockhurst Annual Fine Arts Review, Montucky Review, Right Hand Pointing, Boston Literary Magazine,and elsewhere. His website is michaelwells.ink.
