Lauren Dostal

Lauren Dostal is a native Floridian currently residing in a steamy suburb of Tampa. She graduated from Florida State University and is an assistant poetry editor at Pithead Chapel. Lauren uses the medium of science fiction to explore women’s issues, power dynamics, and the politics of beauty. She is currently working on a novel about a far future police state and a blind female assassin. Lauren’s most recent work can be found in Entropy, Split Lip, and (forthcoming) Hotel.
