Laura Laing

Laura Laing is a recent graduate of Goucher College’s MFA program in creative nonfiction. A freelance writer since 2000, her essays have been published in The Rumpus, Full Grown People, Consequence, and Creative Nonfiction, and her long-form, literary journalism has been published in Baltimore’s City Paper. She is on the board and serves as the publications chair of the American Society for Journalists and Authors. She is currently working on a memoir incorporating narrative structure with explorations in abstract mathematics. See her work at lauralaing.com.
