Elizabeth Zertuche

Elizabeth Zertuche traverses cultural and language borders as a Mexican-American writer. She is a 2015 VONA/Voices Residency scholar, 2016 Firefly Ridge Literary Magazine Women’s Writing Award finalist, 2016 Hedgebrook Vortext scholar and 2017 VONA/LOFT Literary Center Workshop attendee. Her work was showcased in the 2016/2017 Short Stories for Gabo Literary Gathering in honor of Gabriel García Márquez. Elizabeth is from South Texas and lives in North Carolina.
