Aurora Masum-Javed

Spring 2018 Session

Aurora Masum-Javed is a writer and educator. She currently lectures at Cornell University, where she recently received her MFA. Her work can be found in or is forthcoming from Black Warrior Review, Nimrod, Aster(ix), Callaloo, Jaggery, and So To Speak. She was the 2016 winner of the Winter Tangerine Award, a Pablo Neruda Poetry Prize finalist, a finalist for the Flash Prose Contest, and a Pushcart Prize nominee. She has received fellowships from Callaloo, Squaw Valley, PinkDoor, and BOAAT.
