Annie Syed

Fall 2017 Session

Annie Q. Syed comes from stories which reside inside her mother’s love and her father’s valor. When she is not busy empowering her students through literature and writing, she loves to read, travel, spend time with her husband, and visit with family, especially her niece. She has called many places “home” and currently resides in New Mexico. She has a JD from CUNY School of Law and is part of Middlebury College’s Bread Loaf School of English. Her stories, Collection of Auguries, were published in 2013. Currently she is writing new stories and essays.
