Yezmin Villarreal is a fiction writer, journalist, and editor. They are the creator of Dyke Queen, an art, style, and literature zine. Dyke Queen was awarded the “Issues Residency” by Hello Mr. Yezmin has previously worked as an editor at INTO, The Advocate, and PRIDE. They have been listed as one of “100 LGBT+ Trailblazers Redefining the Creative Industry,” and one of “15 Latinx Music Journalists You Should Be Reading.” Yezmin has written for various publications, including NPR, Billboard, and the Los Angeles Times, among others.
