Haolun Xu

Poetry

Haolun Xu was born in Nanning, China. He immigrated to the United States in 1999 as a child. He was raised in central New Jersey and recently graduated from Rutgers University. His writing has appeared in New Ohio Review, Ruminate, and more. Haolun is currently focusing on building his voice as an Asian American writer through learning how language can be a site for both loss and revival. He will be a 2021 poet in residence at Centrum. Haolun is also deeply fond of the sea and mountains. He is on Twitter at @haolun1.
